Can't believe we've been coming to Chatsworth for the horse trials for over 10 years. This is our 6th stay at Fin House, and sadly Tony and Carole are calling it a day. We will miss staying in our home-from-home for all the reasons recorded by us and others in reviews. We will especially miss Tony but we wish you all the best for the future.

“Tony's place was brilliant. Fantastic location, in walking distance to various pubs for dinner as recommended by Tony (we liked the Packhorse most, then the White Lion, then Crispin Inn) and to the beautiful Monsal Trail. Easy access to Bakewell etc. The B&B was immaculate and our room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was amazing (probably our favourite part of our whole stay!) Nice to have our own entrance up to the room. Would highly recommend staying here.”

“My wife and I have just had a fabulous stay with Tony. The room is very light, airy, very clean and comfortable, the bathroom is spotless and there is a dressing room too; all in all perfect. The garden was ours to use and it was lovely and peaceful sitting in it. Tony is a very thoughtful host who is very welcoming, helpful and yet very discrete too; in fact a perfect combination. It is very good value for money and in a great location. We are very happy to highly recommend Tony's Air B'nB as a place to stay. ”

What a delightful place. We have had a lovely time - Tony, you're a great host and made us feel at home right away. Breakfasts were amazing. Love the Bnb, love the location for walks, love the Packhorse Inn and love Milo, who greeted us each time we returned from a walk!
We would not hesitate to return.

First class accommodation with friendly attentive host Tony. Lovely large light room, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. By the Monsal Trail with great cycling routes and close to Chatsworth House. 5 mins walk to quaint the local pub, the Packhorse, with very good food. Superb French restaurant 10 mins drive away in Bakewell - PieDaniel. Afternoon Tea at Chatsworth also recommended. Had a lovely long relaxing weekend.

We had a perfect stay! The room is large, bright, new, very clean. Every morning Tony would bring us a rich breakfast, that we took at the table next to the window, with a nice view on the countryside. Moreover Tony is a very kind host, always available to help and advice, he really made us feel at home! The room is in Tony's house but has a quite separate access. It is located near to a few pubs (we loved the atmosphere at the Packhorse Inn, for which Tony advised us to make a reservation), and less than 10 minutes by car from Bakewell. No noises, really peaceful! A good location to explore the Peak district park. We strongly recommend staying at Tony's place!

Thank you so much for your great hospitality. Your place and breakfast tops all the other bnb's we've stayed in the UK. We will definitely tell all our friends and family.

Everything about this accommodation was excellent. I rate this as one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. It is easiest if I just list what my wife and I liked about this. - The room is large
and well decorated, in perfect condition and was practically new. - Fantastic views of the Peak District. - Spotlessly clean. - Spacious en-suite bathroom. - Excellent continental breakfast which was
brought to us in the room on a serving trolly. - Great location, great walks immediately accessible from the house. - Tony and his wife were welcoming, friendly, generous and unobtrusive. You even
have your own separate entrance to the house. I hope it remains available as a B&B as we will definitely stay again. I would also recommend the Packhorse Inn, five minutes walk down the road,
beautifully preserved traditional pub with excellent food (we had duck and venison).

Everything about the Fin House is first class.....like staying in your own private 5 star hotel!
The setting is absolutely gorgeous with fantastic views in all directions. The location is very peaceful and private while being less than a 60 second walk to the Monsal Trail and a little over a 5
minute drive to Bakewell. We had no problems finding our way here using the directions and a gps.....and the private off street parking is just steps from your own private entrance into the
The room is quite large and very bright with amazing views out the large windows. The double bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The bathroom is huge and the dressing room is a great
place to get rid of all your luggage and clothes. Everything was clean and spotless making it appear all brand new. There are separate controls for the heating so you can adjust it for however you
like the room to feel. This was a welcome touch for even though we visited in late April we were greeted with a snowstorm!
Tony was an amazing host and greeted us like long lost friends.....making us feel immediately welcome.
The Fin House is top notch and I highly recommend a stay!
